Go Grin!

Why do you weep!
For you there is no sorrow because you are dwelling in the garden of Almighty himself. - Swami Vivekananda
But the interesting contrast of life is that every one is aggrieved, wandering about the reasons of so much pain in otherwise blessed life of the human kind. Galaxy of fertile human brain delved and delving as well deep into the every possible reasoning to get the answer to the puzzle called "pain". In India our forefathers discovered the षड्दर्शन (six faced philosophy) during  their quest for the genesis of creation and came out with plethora of philosophical as well as religious sub-streams to make us pain-free.
During the sixth century B.C India, in her quest for absolute blithe, came up with some religions with radical  ideas like "Buddhism" and  "Jainism" and claimed that by adhering to the "Madhayam Marg"(defined by Buddhism) or by adhering to the "Indriya Nigrah" and "Ahimsa"(both defined by Jainism) one can get rid of the all possible pains. Furthermore some philosophical ideologies such as "charwakvad" came into existence which famously pronounced "As as long as you live, live merrily  even if it requires to live on borrowed money because there is no next or another life after this."  Whereas in "Geeta" lord sri Krishna says that to lead a happy life just do your duty and leave the rest to me. So i think we Indians have a lot of options to chose from and live a happy life because the progenitors of all the aforesaid ideologies applied their preaches in their own life and achieved the state of absolute blithe. Alas! yet we are in pain!!
Have we ever asked from ourselves that what is it which is preventing us from following any one of the aforesaid ideologies and stay happy. The answer is a big "Yes"and generally we get the answers but fail to follow. So the relevant question is why we are not happy despite knowing how to be.The answer is that because we fail to follow ourselves and try to follow others.
Now the question arises that if it is so simple then what the aforesaid ideologies are all about. Yes! all these are different ways of following oneself.

When Buddhism defines a "Madhayam Marg" to happiness, it is defining nothing but a way of living where you need not to see what others are following as it ensures that the way shown by it is the only perfect way to happiness, hence minimizing any chance of yours following others. Now the question arises that how the pursuance  of a common way of living is particular to each one and the answer is that no two persons can have same perception of a given case.

When "Jainism" describes "Indriya nigrah" and "ahimsa" as the way to happiness, it is just telling you what not to do so that you can have your way to elusive happiness and ensures you that nothing else but deviation from this path is the only disastrous thing that can happen to you. Here again a close observation of the cult reveals that if we control the excesses of our senses we became stoic towards the allurement of   any kind and practice of ahimsa makes us tolerant against the excesses of any other person hence making us absolutely free to follow ourselves.

Similarly when the Charwak Philosophy tells to live merrily even if it requires to live on borrowed money, it symbolically implies to live as per your terms and don't care a fig what others think or speak about you. (the line that "even if it requires to borrow money" is symbolic to the activities which are condemnable as per the social norms but are required to be done for a happy life) Hence setting us free to pursue our dreams without looking for others approval.

Finally Gita says that every one is here to do "karma" and hence things, at times, may go wrong. But don't worry about the result and carry on as any apprehension towards the result will deter the enthusiasm of doing work and hence will make way for sorrow to creep in as sorrow has nothing sort of physical existence but it is a mental state of cognizance when our reasoning sees some short-term unfavorable events occurring against the general acceptance. Thus making us carefree about the general perception and repose to the supreme authority for decision regarding our deeds.
Now if all such philosophy is nothing but jargon to us then let us learn it from nature! Find out the happiest creation of the Almighty - I think it is flower. How came it is so? A careful look shows that it is doing its work despite all odds. I mean it is spreading the  fragrance all the time, in all seasons, under all circumstances and to all that come near it either to cherish it or to perish it. A flower never cares that an insect ,which has come to perish it ,will make a laughing stock of the fact that mighty flower, despite knowing that insect will harm it , is spreading the fragrance in the face of death-defining pain. Then what it cares for? It cares for the duty of spreading fragrance, it cares for the duty of giving alms at cost of some personal loss, it cares for bearing some loss for the gain of the world, it cares for its generations to come at the cost of its beauty, it cares for not making others suffer simply because it had suffered, it cares about not to live in awe but to die with a smile................and that is why it remains happy! It remains Grinning with joy.

Give me Red

Nothing comes for free in this world. You will have to pay for whatsoever is desirable. You can't do anything except arranging for the price of the thing you want to have. Now you want to have some red kind of fresh feeling, want to have some energy in your life, some kind of strength, some spark of youthfulness, some interest in every thing around you, to sum up these all you can say is "give me some zeal, some red-blood for my veins". So you will have to pay some price to get some red colour from nature. As you know nothing can be added or subtracted from the nature, all you can do is to transform one thing into another. Obviously, Red lacks in your life means some other colour is in abundance. Just find out what other colour, which you don't like, is in abundance in your life and transform it into the colour of your choice that is red.
Now the problem arises! As a human being you love the things which you have, either bad or good, so you don't want to change a colour which you don't like with a colour which you like. Thus the well known contrast of life comes to existence. I do not know whether you are going to believe but this is root cause of all the despair in otherwise prosperous life of each and every human being.
You know that you have some colours in your life that are not desirable but yet you want it to remain with you as you enjoy your peculiarity with that ugly abundance and then at some other point of time you regret the absence or meagre amount of a particular colour in your life. (On close observation you will discover that u regret the absence of a particular colour only when you find someone, with that colour, in a position which you were craving for the whole long)
Therefore do two things first of all find the colour which you need not in abundance but you have and then take the second step (the tough one) to transform it to the colour of your choice or your need.
After this bit of philosophy we can talk about the RED colour, the colour of zeal. First of all you will have to find out the colour which is suffocating you and making you feel the lack of red colour in your life. Don't you find that the colour of hopelessness that is ash-colour, colour of loose self- confidence that is brownish-black, colour of envy that is deep-green and many more are there which a healthy human being can not bear for a long time and hence starts to look for the red colour. Now take the second step just transform these ugly colours into the romantic one that is dark green into light green, the colour of healthy co-operation; ash colour into silver colour, the colour of sharp brain-storming; brownish- black into brown, the colour of endurance and persistence; and you will find that u are moving and as you keep moving for some time you will find that the desirable red is in your life. You will feel that you are doing things with zeal. But did you realize that you never chased the red colour and it came, yes! This is another philosophical bit, never chase any thing, just do the natural because all that is desirable in the world ask for some unselfishness and some ignorance towards them.

 कर्म किये जा फल कि चिंता मत कर! -   GITA GAYAN

Why Sky is Blue !

Now you want to have some blue or sky colour that is colour of achievement, colour of grandeur in your life. You want to be impressive, awesome, splendid and infinite as well. But have you ever tried to be as benevolent as the sky? Have you ever tried to be as light as the sky so that no one may ever be perished by your weight? Have you ever tried to be as spacious as the sky so that no one may ever have felt suffocated by your presence? Have you ever tried to be as humble as the sky so that you also can have a watch-worthy horizon? Have you ever tried to be as romantic as the sky so that each and every one beneath you can have equal chance to tell you his story? Have you ever tried to be as tolerant as the sky that can take all the polluted air and yet avoid to acid-rain on the earth which is very much dependent on sky? Finally have u ever tried to be as resilient as the sky which has the same colour at the time when some thing as great as sun comes to it in the morning and goes out in the evening? And have you got the patient to bear the burn of some thing like sun?
The more "yes" you can write for the above questions the deeper will be the presence of blue colour in your life!!
Believe me this not a poetic verse but a fact that is very much true in its essence. Now a days people consider it at the first place that they are the best and expect accordingly, but they never get the time to weigh themselves with a rightful parameter. so next time before expecting any colour in you life just make sure that u have the primary features of the natural thing with which the particular colour is recognized with and just enjoy the process of being coloured bit by bit. Mind it "bit by bit".
